Surveys continue to be a vital source of information for CANEGROWERS. The Large Scale Grower Cost Survey is audited by an independent auditing firm prior to publication. These audited results, as well as the information from the Labour Productivity Survey, are used by a number of stakeholders, including in industry negotiations, by regional staff and individual growers.
The Economic Services department has strong links with universities through which the latest developments in agricultural, and more specifically sugar-related research, can be obtained.
